Summer Beauty Must-haves

The summer has officially arrived! Like most girls out there its the perfect opportunity to get your legs out and keep your feet out of shoes as much as possible. But having the perfect pins for the summer can be a lot of hard work, a lot of money and a lot of time. Every girl has preferences as to how they groom their legs and feet either by letting professionals do the work or taking it into their own hands. I am like being in charge of my own grooming and thats why these two products are perfect for me.

Braun Silk epil Epilator
Before I bought this epilator, I did so much research mainly for that fact that I had to decide whether it was worth investing £80 on it.Considering I hadn't waxed or used an epilator prior to buying it, I was worried I would waste money on it and never use it because it hurt too much. However I was pleasantly surprised, because although it stings a little when you use it, the pain is relatively bearable. As for whether it works, I am really happy with the results, I wouldn't say it works as well as waxing but when I epilate, I can go for 2 weeks without doing it again; which is perfect if you are going on holiday. The Braun silk epil claims that it can pick up hairs up to 5mm which I don't think that's true. However because it picks up the hairs from the roots, when the root regrows, the hair is thinner and easier to epilate again and less likely to me seen. I love this product and a year on it still remains my go-to for hair removal.

Emjoi Micro Pedi
Because I grew up in Ghana I am accustomed to walk around bare footed a lot, which you have probably noticed from my outfit post. Walking around bare-footed isn't that great for your feet because the skin toughens up and by doing so it becomes incredibly dry. When I stared seeing micro-pedi adverts on TV, I knew I had to have one to eliminate the dryness on my feet. Luckily this product did just that, the condition of my feet has gotten so much better and i am not embarrassed to get my feet out any more. The retail price is £30 which I think it a bit steep for  what is essentially an electric feet file, also it only comes with one feet file which means you will need to replacement every so often and the replacements cost £12! However I cannot dispute the results, it does work bloody well!

I bought both products from Amazon because it had the best competitive prices for both products
I would be more than happy to answer any questions on either products. Research is always best if you are buying products like these in order to to get the best value for money, and I will be happy to help you make that decision.
